  1. Since pushing EDDM is currently the responsiblity of the Postmasters or OIC of each office and the Postplan has been formalized this program will ‘fill the need’ since all of those offices will be turned over to current PMR’s or new hires off the street. My question is, how much are they truly going to be saving by pushing old, valuable knowledge out the door if they will be paying not one person for each office, but one person and a company?

  2. “accelerate speed to new sales, revenue growth and return on investment”……no kidding? Maybe they can find the black hole where every lead we generate seems to disappear into. Maybe they can find the sales force we are supposed to have in that same black hole.

If this is another top down management boondoggle, I hope Tmone will have the guts to tell off the idiots in charge.

  3. So, we aren’t really broke? Why are we always “contracting out” our work to other business’ ? I don’t understand it. Maybe I do understand it – it is the beginning of the end of the post office. We are giving our jobs away one at a time. Our beloved PMG has this all figured out and already has it in play. There is nothing the workers can do about it. Congress wants to end the Post Office and so does the PMG. You can be the best worker in the world and it does not make a difference to them at all. We are being thrown away like the garbage they think we are. For just one day everyone needs to call in sick and then see what happens. I think it would be hilarous to watch the panic. That one day would send a big message to management. But again, the writing is on the wall. The Post Office will be gone in the future and there is nothing we can do because the people who are in charge (congress) has already made up their minds on the direction they want to go. They are hell bent on destroying this service and so is the PMG. What a bunch of self serving aholes we have in Washington.

  4. Whatever…as always, the USPS is a day late and a dollar short. This will cost a huge amount of money from the USPS to implement it and it will be obsolete before it is even roled-out. Then, a few months later they will have some new ‘brilliant idea,’ when this one doesn’t pan out.

I’m so tired of hearing of any of their ‘world class’ ideas (what a joke). These people are not world class people, but bottom feeders.

  5. This is just a continuation of the out sourcing of the Post Service to third party vendors. Some day our local mail will go to China first to be sorted then come back to the customer.

This is going on in every Business in America. It must stop! This is why all American companies are changing the way of healthcare and retirement programs are paid for their employee’s.

The day is gone when a person will work for one company and retire after 30 years.
What future do our children and their children have?
