USPS: New Express Mail Padded Flat Rate Envelope

Shipping is easier for postal customers, thanks to the new Express Mail Padded Flat Rate Envelope.

The envelope measures 9.5 x 12.5 inches and can be ordered without charge, starting Aug. 2, exclusively at usps.com. The shipping fee is $17.75 for commercial and online customers.

“The Express Mail Padded Flat Rate Envelope is just like the Priority Mail version, only it gets there faster,” said Domestic Products VP Gary Reblin. “It’s a great option for shippers who need to get lightweight items to their destination overnight. Flat-rate pricing saves time and effort on mail preparation and makes it possible to accurately predict shipping costs.”

The Express Mail Padded Flat Rate Envelope is the latest addition to the expanding Express Mail Flat Rate product line. It builds on the success of the Priority Mail Padded Flat Rate Envelope, which has been a hit with ecommerce shippers looking for a lightweight shipping option.
