  1. Dear Mike: Kiss your own ass. You are the one that took the detail in management. You deserve all those knives in your back because that’s the way management plays the game. Too bad you lost your job as a carrier. The APWU doesn’t want a sourpuss like you anyway. If you can’t see what the union has done for you, then you are a selfish ass. Next time, give back your raises, you ungrateful jerk.

  2. We need to all be praying that God will grant those of us who are covered by the APWU Union (and yes those who are not) the victory “In Jesus Name”!!! Once we have prayed, we can thank him, and bless him for it, for by faith it will be done.

  3. I don’t understand the negative remarks made so early on concerning the debates. We as APWU members can all see the negative side of management, that is exactly why we have not become red badge holders. Our job is to do the job we have bid on and do it well. Gripes about management will not change their priorities. Contact your union steward, support the union that supports you. It’s the only way you ever received a raise in the first place, especially those of you showing your true colors here on the site (negativity gets you no where in life). Complaining employees are not respected employees. Management needs your support, they are nothing without you. Care for you fellow employees and be united in your jobs to the best of your abilities. We are all lucky to have a job and a rather decent paying one for that matter. I want to keep mine for a few more years and the retirement that comes with it. I have 2 more years to go, Burris and Potter, please make them satisfactory ones!

  4. AFTER OUR MANAGER PLAYS GAMES ON THE COMPUTER HE YAKES OUT HIS PUTTER AND HITS A GOLFBALL AROUND THE WORKROOM FLOOR AND HE EARNS $30,000.00 MORE THAN I DO. TAKE HALF OF THOSE JOBS AND GET RID OF THEM AND WE MIGHT MAKE A PROFIT.

  5. I worked detail in the Postmasters office and did both the level 17 job and the clerks job and ran out of things to do by 12pm. I don’t see how the office can justify these postions. The elvel 17 person did nothing all day but send out bogus reports that no one looked at. Give me a break. They moved me out after the APWU filed 2 grievences and put one of the paying members in. I refuse to become a member because I am a NRP carrier that was forced to become a window cleark and lose 30 yerars of senority. What are the unions doing for us? Not a dam thing. I am CSRS and have less than 4 years left. My retirement is funded by OPM. I could care less anymore about the unions, management and other postal employees. My back has so many knife wounds in it I can’t take a drink of water without spilling out everywhere. Kiss my ass all of you!

  6. They should also get rid of management jobs that have a postmaster/OIC sitting at a computer all day who even tells us we know our job as the only two two window clerks and employees in the small office. Yup, the post office yet has money for made up management jobs for their own. If they are doing this in our office imagine how many other small offices they have saved their management job of sitting in a chair the whole day just staring at a computer and we can’t even get a PTF and the line goes out the door.

  7. Ms. mandinka: I agree, and ALL of the 20% of union workers gone will be from the postmasters and supervisors unions. You know, the make-work, time-wasting practices ‘jobs’ that print ‘reports’ for every level of managemnt above them.

  8. Burris the days of Entitlement are over. When this contract is finally signed look for 20% of the union members to be GONE!!!
