But after pressure from all sides of the political arena, ” House Speaker John Boehner announced today that Republicans have decided to accept a short-term extension of the payroll tax cut, preventing a hike in taxes just nine days before the tax break expires for 160 million Americans.”.

The truth is the GOP APPROVED a 12=TWELVE month extension of a payroll tax cut. The Senate changed it to 2=TWO months and that is what was rejected. I guess you are happier with only a 2 month extension, when you could/should have had a 12 Month Extension. Simple mathe tells you 12 is more than 2 in any language, except LIBERAL.
