  1. Mypost office Ovington located at 6803 4 Avenue in Brooklyn NY 11220 is still on the list but nobody in the neighborhood understands why. The only other stations are over 2 miles away in either direction. It is located on the main strip and right outside of a major train station. It is busy and makes money. What about the seniors in 11209 one block over and 11220 we have a higher ratio of seniors. How are they supposed to go to the other post offices by paying money for the train out of their retirement income. What is going on. The businesses in the area have started a petition drive that has over 4000 signaturs on it already. Our congressman Michael Grimm, our Senator Marty Golden and our Councilman VIncent Gentile have written letters to help save our post office. So what is going to happen. Our community will not rest until the Ovington Post Office is saved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. “Annexes Erroneoulsly Included on Original List”.

Those information boys at the post office really need to double-check their information. Let me understand this. Several places get ‘accidentally’ put on the closure list? How? And ever since they were placed on it those workers and nearby citizens have been s—-ing themselves for no reason other than a clerical error? And all the post office has to say is, “WHOOPS!”? Sloppy. I guess that explains “erroneoulsly” as well.
