Postal Supervisor arrested for allegedly hitting worker during argument

A 38-year-old U.S. Postal Worker is scheduled to appear in Cook County Court on Feb. 9 after allegedly hitting another postal employee in the face during an argument at work.

Police said the woman, who is also a supervisor, was arrested for battery at 6:06 p.m. Dec. 31 at the Tinley Park Post Office, 7230 W. 171st St., after allegedly hitting another employee in the face with her hand during an argument.

A 27-year-old employee said she returned to the post office after making her deliveries for the day to return her equipment when the supervisor began yelling at her and got in her face, backing her up against a wall, police said. The two women began arguing and the supervisor struck her in the face. The woman then exited the office and called police.

  1. Jerry Springer mentality . Scum of the earth with some authority , only qaulification for the job is if you will sleep with the boss ! The only way they know how to communicate is with their asses or mouthes full .

  2. what is this thing with supervisors yelling at you like that’s the only way they know how to supervise and communicate. when i started my new bid in april (i am a 32 year postal employee) that’s all the supervisors did to me. now i know i have been in the post office since they were probably in junior high and they are yelling at me. because i have 32 years with these idiots supervising me i had to ask them “who do you think you are yelling at” oh no we won’t have that. more proof these people do not know how to manage people they think they can get the mail out through intimidation and fear. i am still waiting for the day i stick my fingers in my ears and say la la la la la la la la la while they are doing all that yelling. they have the nerve to want respect but think they are in a position where they don’t have to give it.
