House Oversight Hearing To Examine USPS Workshare Discounts

U.S. House of Representatives, Federal Workforce, Postal Service and the District of Columbia Subcommittee

On Wednesday, May 12, 2010, the Federal Workforce, Postal Service and the District of Columbia Subcommittee will hold a hearing entitled, “The Price is Right, or is it? An Examination of USPS Workshare Discounts and Products that Do Not Cover Their Costs.” The hearing will take place at 2:00 p.m. in room 2154 Rayburn House Office Building.

  1. WOW….only a few years LATE!!!!

    Anyone that has been following the mounting “give away” to the major
    Corporate Mailers should have been alarmed enough to call for “oversight”
    hearings a lot sooner.

    And, as they get into the “meat and potatoes” of their investigation of this
    Corporate Bonanza for Potter’s Buddies, someone has to get up the gumption
    to fire the PMG and his forty VP thieves.

  2. This is good news. However, when is the Congress going to hold hearings on the authoritarian methods and practices of the Postal Service that engender toxic workplace environments and workplace violence?
