  1. It’s befuddles me how management is trying to derail a perfectly viable service. But as usual management levels stay the same (and don’t tell me about any RIF)! It’s the old checkerboard game they play: shuffle them here shuffle them there!

But my bottom line is, when you take away services (stamp machines, drop boxes, window hours, less clerks on those windows–have NO Sales staff whatsoever to knock on doors), why would expect anything different but anger from the public (Our Customers)??

Oh yes, I work there, but have gotten so ashamed to admit it to any outsider for the stuff that occurs on a daily basis it seems!

  2. The PRC “field hearings” are a “dog and pony show”.
The outcome is a forgone conclusion…to suggest anything else is a joke.
The “format” is the most telling indicator of the
“outcome” of the PRC’s “field hearings”.

In the end, the USPS will be allowed to do whatever
level of Station and Branch closing that THE CONGRESS
OF THE UNITED STATES will ALLOW IT to do.

Permanently changing the structure and method of the
DELIVERY OF SERVICE TO AMERICA by the USPS during a
short term down turn of the economy is ABSOLUTELY NOT
THE WAY TO GO during this USPS temporary financial crisis.

It is clear from the actions of certain political
groups, that there are those that would seize this
unique opportunity to forever change the USPS, the
venerable and historic organization that it is, to
fit THEIR IDEA of a restructured, private sector like
    “corporation”.
