Jeff, not another joke, just another decent contract. And you are right about working 5 hours and getting paid for 9. If we do get put on the clock like city carriers, we will learn to “milk” the clock just as well. A better idea, especially for our customers, is to put city carriers on evaluated time, then see if they work 8 hours a day or ever ask for a 3996.

12-20-2007 we hav’nt see the pay increase either. In fact there was a glitch in the computer system and NO ONE in the washington metro area got paid on 12-14-07.

Just another joke of overpaid Rural Carriers that already get paid for 9 hours of work a day but actually only work 5 and go home. Rural carriers must really have a good union. I say put them on the clock just like city carriers and see if they still work 5 hours on that route.

I read the $686.00 lump sum payment was to be paid in pay period 21… It’s come and gone. I also read the back pay would be in period 24. Did anyone see it?
